Different Season, Different Catch

Steelhead season starts in late September and goes into December on the upper Rogue River, presenting lots of opportunities at these special ocean run fish. We fish from the Lost Creek Lake Dam all the way through the town of Rogue River. We offer trips using Swinging flies and nymphing so we are prepared for whatever our anglers prefer. This location is a special fishery where a lot of exciting encounters with big fish happen.

Trout season on the upper Rogue is a fun, dry-fly only, short season where we fish using big bugs in the hopes of locking into big trout or even a steelhead. It's all dry flies and tends to come with some really nice weather. No waiters required, this is a shorts and sandals kind of deal!

What you can expect: Starting our float all the way up at the top of the Rogue River, then floating down to Shady Cove. Trips are between 6 and 7 hours long and start at $550 for the day with up to two anglers. Bring your own lunch. All gear and flies are provided.
